FRIDAY

We are starting with some sunshine but clouds will be increasing with afternoon highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Most areas will remain dry, but some rain showers are likely in the mountains along the VA/WV border, including flurries toward ski resorts in West Virginia.

THIS WEEKEND

We maintain cooler temperatures over the weekend. Highs will mostly read in the 50s with lows dipping into the 20s and 30s! Scattered showers are possible on Saturday, especially in the mountains. If you have potted plants outside, you’ll probably want to bring them in on Saturday and Sunday evenings, as our nighttime lows are approaching freezing point.

A front will bring colder weather and a few flurries to the region.

NEXT WEEK

We will continue to see beautiful sunshine on Monday as a few showers will return on Tuesday. Looks like we’ll stay cool early next week, but should see temperatures back into the 60s by Wednesday.

Temperatures turn cold this weekend, but warm up later next week.
