Josh Bridges New Garage Gym
At the very start of the tour, Josh introduces the Rogue Echo bike. “If I had to buy just one piece of equipment, I would definitely go with this thing,” he says.
It also showcases its plethora of kettlebells ranging from 35 pounds to 124 pounds. Then he presents three different sandbags – he lifts the 200 pound one and shows two more (150 pound and 100 pound each).
Last year, Josh Bridges fought his first boxing against fellow CrossFit athlete Jacob Heppner (and lost). For his training before the boxing match, Bridges says he used slam balls to do rotational exercises.
He also showed off his weight vest, which he says improves any cardio, and a set of dumbbells weighing up to 100 pounds.
Finishing his gym in the garage, Bridges shows off his TrueForm runner, a treadmill that reduces impact on the knees, a GHD machine in the corner, a Jacob’s Ladder machine and a squat rack for barbell training .
His gymnasium in the basement
Although her gym in her garage seems like an athlete’s dream, Bridges says her favorite place to work out is her basement.
There he has another squat rack with gymnastic rings attached to it. Another echo bike, GHD machine, an erg ski and a cold dip for recovery sessions.
What did you think of his gym in the garage? And his basement? We at BOXROX have become very jealous. And it reminded us of Justin Medeiros’ home gym.
