Freestyle federations of Belarus and Russia sign cooperation agreement

MINSK, June 15 (BelTA) – A cooperation agreement was signed between the freestyle federations of Belarus and Russia at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee on June 15, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC). from Belarus. .

The agreement was signed by the President of the Belarusian Freestyle Federation Aleksandr Penigin and the President of the Russian Freestyle Federation Alexey Kurashov.

The document provides for joint training camps, seminars for specialists and participation in joint competitions on the territory of the two countries. The Russian side thanked the Belarusian counterparts for the possibility of cooperation and exchange of experiences: currently the Russian team is holding a training camp in Minsk.

Belarus and Russia have already cooperated to develop one of the freestyle disciplines – jumps. The teams of both countries include many world-class athletes, who regularly become medalists at major international tournaments.

Previous cooperation agreements were signed in Minsk by the Belarusian Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Club and the Russian Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Federation, as well as the Belarusian Ski Union and the Russian Association of ski.
