Ritchie Bros. prepares to sell over 11,000 items at Canada’s biggest gear auction of the year


The six days Edmonton auction on May 2nd – 7 features of equipment and trucks from over 1,400 shippers

EDMONTON, Alta., April 25, 2022 /CNW/ – Next week, Ritchie Bros.. will sell over 11,000 items for over 1,400 shippers in from Canada biggest equipment auction of the year. the May 2nd – 7, 2022, the auction will take place at the company’s site at Edmonton, Alta.with auctions available online, via mobile app and in person.

“We have assembled a fantastic range of late model equipment and trucks, with our Edmonton site now open to test and inspect items, or you can virtually inspect online with 360oh article videos,” said Andrew Luticregional sales manager, Ritchie Bros.. “This year we have seen incredibly strong demand for used equipment, so I encourage interested bidders to start putting their favorite items online now and bidding quickly through PriorityBid. Major equipment for the May auction in Edmonton includes over 270 tractor trucks, over 190 excavators, over 130 skid steer loaders, over 120 bulldozers, over 100 forklifts, over 60 aerial work forms, more than 40 agricultural tractors and more than 950 trailers. All items will be sold with no minimum bid or reserve price.

Day two (May 3): Wheel Loaders, Backhoe Loaders, Motor Graders, Power Scrapers, Rock Trucks, Articulated Dump Trucks, Water Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, Oil & Gas Trucks, Boom Trucks, Bed Trucks, and Winch Trucks
Day three (May 4): Bulldozers, Compact Track Loaders, Skid Steer Loaders, Pipelayers, Tractors, Mid Dump Trailers, Side Dump Trailers, Dump Trailers, Low Beds and Power Packs
Day four (May 5): Excavators, cranes, loaders, skidders, feller bunchers, delimbers, mulchers, stump grinders, dumpers, trenchers, directional drills, compactors, forklifts, conveyors and camp equipment
Fifth and sixth days (May 6 & 7): Timed auction lot closures
