The successful partnership between Mikaela Shiffrin and Atomic continues: the American skier has signed a contract with the Austrian ski manufacturer until 2024 and will continue to compete with skis, boots, bindings and helmets from Altenmarkt during the two next seasons. Its service team will be expanded in terms of personnel to specialize in technical and speed categories.
In early May, the four-time World Cup winner signed a contract to continue her relationship with Atomic. At the same time, there will be a considerable change in the service team around Shiffrin: after four successful years, Johann Strobl, is retiring from the Tour and will transition to the Atomic Pro Center to help strengthen the service team. internal racing at Altenmarkt. . The new service men alongside the 27-year-old racer are Robert Bürgler and Lukas Rottinger, the latter taking care of setting up Shiffrin’s speed skis.
